FTTx for Installers & Technicians

This four-day instructor-led course is designed to provide useful technical knowledge of fiber optics relating to FTTx applications, as well as the skills needed to install and test the physical layer for active Ethernet and passive optical networks (PON).

Audience: Beginner and experienced technicians, or supervisors

Prerequisite: Fiber Foundations recommended, but not required

Course Level: Introductory to intermediate. Beginners to experienced fiber technicians find the class and extensive hands-on skills training beneficial

Course Length: 4 days: two days of classroom learning and two days of hands-on skills training

Certification (Optional):ETA Fiber Optics Technician–Outside Plant (FOT-OSP) - BICSI Continuing Education Credits (26 BICSI ITS CECs) - Light Brigade Certificate of Completion
