The Light Brigade offers independent certification through the Utilities Technology Council (UTC). Fiber Optic Professional (FOP) certification addresses aerial and underground fiber-optic networks for distribution and transmission, as well as rights-of-ways issues.
FOP certification is $175 for UTC members and $275 for non-members and is valid for three years.
