This two-day instructor-led course provides a fundamental understanding of fiber optics that is perfect for those new to fiber or those looking to enhance their current knowledge base. Two days of hands-on skills training can be added later to develop cable preparation, termination, splicing, and testing skills and to qualify for ETA certification
Audience: Field technicians, installers, IT support staff, engineers, field supervisors, OSP staff, maintenance techs, or technical sales staff
Prerequisite: Fiber Foundations recommended, but not required
Course Level: Introductory to intermediate. Beginners to experienced fiber technicians find the class and extensive hands-on skills training beneficial
