Technician Level I

The Technician Level I certification course features 16 hours of classroom lecture on the physical layer: fiber optic theory, fiber types, cables, splicing, terminations, fiber management products, installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and safety.
The course is intended for those who plan, design, install, or maintain fiber-optic networks in public safety, security, traffic, or transportation environments.
